Function / Content

This series consists of black and white and colour aerial photographs of areas of the Northern Territory. The photos appear to be roughly arranged in two alphabetical sequences by region. Items 1-136 cover areas from Ban Ban to Woolner, and items 137-353 cover areas Alligator River to Woolwonga. The photographs are organised in photograph boxes that have been marked with the item numbers. Within each photograph box, the photographs are grouped by the region. The photograph numbers are grouped by the run number, but are not otherwise in any sequence. The details recorded on each photograph include film number, area, run, photograph number, date, height and lens. Some photographs include annotations such as outlines of topographic lines.
